General Conditions – ODYSSEY CAR

1- Rental conditions :

  • Present a valid and original driver's license (at least 2 years from the car pick-up date).
  • For non-Moroccan customers, present a valid and original driver's license (at least 2 years from the car pick-up date) or an international driver's license.
  • A valid ID with photo taken within the last 10 years. Your passport or driver's license are accepted if they have a photo; any national ID card or other government-issued ID is also accepted.
  • You must be at least 23 years old on the car pick-up date.
  • Driving conditions :
  • No pending convictions for negligent, reckless, or dangerous driving.
  • No pending convictions for driving or attempting to drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • No pending convictions for racing offenses.
  • 2- Payment method :

  • Cash payment.
  • Payment by EFT (Electronic Payment Terminal).
  • Payment by instant bank transfer.
  • 3- Rental duration :

  • Minimum rental duration is 3 days.
  • Maximum rental duration is 30 days.
  • For each contract extension, contract renewal is mandatory after every 30 days.
  • For each contract extension, the customer must notify the office 48 hours before the end of their current contract and obtain prior approval from the agency, subject to availability and current reservations.
  • 4- During the rental period :

  • Our vehicles come with unlimited mileage (kms), allowing you to explore Morocco without restrictions.
  • The customer agrees to not drive or take the vehicle outside the country (Morocco).
  • For each rental, the customer agrees to return the vehicle to the agency with the same fuel level as the beginning of the contract.
  • A deductible deposit is 5000 MAD for each rental vehicle.
  • The customer is responsible for any fines, tickets, and reports issued against him.
  • 5- Insurance :

  • Vehicles are insured for Multi-Risks.
  • However, for any damage other than vehicle theft, fire, glass breakage, civil liability, and passengers transported (PAI), a non-redeemable deductible remains the responsibility of the driver in case of partial or full liability.
  • An accident report is mandatory for all accidents.
  • A deductible insurance of MAD 5000 applies in the event of partial or full liability of the customer.
  • 6- Guarantees of the insured vehicle  :

    7- Insurance assitance (Africa First Assist) :

  • Towing of the insured vehicle.
  • Transportation of the customer and insured passengers.
  • On-site repairs in case of a problem Level 1 that occurring inside an urban area (flat tire, battery, breakdown, or fuel error).
  • Warranty limitations - The number of breakdowns covered by Africa First Assist is limited to two breakdowns per year and unlimited for accidents.
  • 8- Damage and repair management :

  • Additional fees will be charged for internal or external damage, as estimated by a repair professional.
  • If the customer is responsible, additional fees will be charged for total repair days that the vehicle was out of service.
  • Our goal is to ensure transparency and fairness in damage and repair events, and we are here to support and collaborate throughout the process.
  • 9- Online Booking (website) :

  • Online booking is done in 3 steps:
  • Step 1 (Pre-Reservation) - The customer indicates the duration, the car, and the options.
  • Step 2 (Reception and Verification) - After receiving the Pre-Reservation, the agency will verify all details, information, and documents provided by the customer.
  • Step 3 (Validation) - After verification, the agency will validate the reservation, and the customer will receive an automatic confirmation email.
